Connecting the bot
The bot is set up through the unified Connections system — there is no separate token to paste by hand. In the app, add a Telegram connection and the app hands you the exact linking step.
For a personal chat, the bot opens with a unique /start <token> deep link — pressing Start sends that token, and the bot connects your account. For a group or channel, you add the bot and send its unique /start command as your personal account.
One account links once. If you try to connect an already-linked chat, the bot tells you it is already connected.
Private chat vs group
In a group or channel, the bot only sends notifications — every on-demand command is private-chat only. As the bot puts it: "In a chat/group, I can only send notifications. All other commands are only available in private messages with me."
So keep group connections for pushing alerts to a team, and talk to the bot in a private chat to pull reports and open positions.
Bot commands
Use these in your private chat with the bot to fetch data on demand:
- •
/start— the list of all commands and your profile status (plan and expiry). - •
/mytrades— your currently open positions with floating PnL and average entry. - •
/dayreport— a mini report for the current day, for a chosen API key. - •
/weekreport— a mini report for the week; pick the week and the API key. - •
/monthreport— a report for the month. - •
/hot— the hot coins: the tickers with the most trades over a period. - •
/balance— your account balance.
Trade notifications
The bot pushes real-time alerts as trades happen. Each notification identifies the account (API key name), the side (long/short), the ticker, and the action — trade opened, order executed, or trade closed.
Open and execution alerts add the buy/sell action, execution price, order volume, PnL, and a link to the trade (unless private mode is on). The alert types and message layout are configured on the connection itself — see Connections for the template tokens.
Trade alerts (open / execution / close) require the Trader plan or above; the on-demand commands and open-positions list work on any plan.
Journaling from Telegram
Every notification carries interactive buttons to enrich the trade without opening the web app. Tap a button to add:
- •Description & conclusion — send the text and the bot attaches it.
- •Entry reasons (tags) — categorize the trade.
- •Screenshots — send images (PNG/JPG, up to 3MB each) and they attach to the trade.
- •Video links — send a link (not a video file) to attach.
Everything syncs
Anything you add through the bot syncs instantly with your journal on the web platform — the description you dictate on your phone is on the trade when you open My Trades on your desktop.
